BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device, in BYOD the device belongs to the user and the user is permitted to use his personal device in the Corporate environment for doing office related work/tasks. With eScan EMM BYOD devices can be handled by the BYOD group type. Eg: If the devices are added to the group having type BYOD, Policies will be applied within the Geo/WIFI location. ie: Restrictions as per the policy will be applied only if the device is in Geo/WIFI location. When the device is out of the Geo/WIFI location the restrictions will be removed, that means the policy will no longer be applied.
