Check 1:
Run the Check disk utility at the system startup.
Check 2:
Run the latest eScan hotfix on the machine and check after restarting the machine by taking the updates.
Check 3:
Delete all the files from C:\program files\escan\FTPTEMP\ folder if present and then again try taking updates
Check 4:
If you get below error in the download.log file
Error getting MD5 of C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\MICROW~1\eScanBD\Plugins\emalware.215!
Delete all the files from plugins folder i.e. from c:\program files\escan\plugins & c:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\MICROW~1\eScanBD\Plugins\ & then take update.
