Where is the "eScan Client" setup file located?  &

How to install "eScan Client" manually with the setup file?

To have the eScan client Setup file, you need to first install eScan Server.

During eScan Server installation, it creates the setup file for clients also on that same system.

Once the eScan Server installation is completed, on that same system browse to .\Program Files\eScan\SETUP folder. In the Setup folder, you will find a file called "SETUP.EXE". This is the eScan Client Setup file which you can access over the network from this system and execute it to do the manual installation wherever required in the network.

You can even access this setup file from the eScan Web Console on any of the client systems connected to the Local Area Network (LAN) and manually install escan client with that setup file.

Refer to the below link which shares information on how you can access the web console.

http://faqs.escanav.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=4&id=150&artlang=en

Just access the web console and do not login in it.

On the homepage only you will find a link "eScan Client Setup".

Click on that link and you will be prompted to either Save the file on the local system or Simply click on "Run" to start the installation without saving the file on local system. Select the required option as per your convenient and then install with that setup file.

Note: Once you install eScan Client manually with the setup file then, if its is eScan AV for SMB / ISS for SMB editions's then those clients will get added automatically in the "Managed Computers" list of eScan Web Console once the client is installed and have invoked the download of updates. You do not have to manually search and add those client computers in the console. But, if its eScan Corporate edition, then you need to also add those client computers in the console in the required group else the clients will not be able to auto download the virus definitions and policies deployed (if any) from the eScan Server.
