How do I login to the Mailscan Webconsole?
You can login to the Mailscan web-console by following the steps:
On the Mailscan system.
1. Goto Start >> All Programs >> Mailscan for xxxx >> Web Administrator. (This will open the default web browser and will show you the Mailscan Web-console login screen)
2. You can login with the user as"Admin" and the password set during installation.
From a system in the local network other than the Mailscan system
1. Open the web browser.
2. In the address bar type
http://ip-address of the mailscan system:10443
Eg: If Mailscan is installed on a system with the IP-address as 192.168.0.4, the webconsole address will be http://192.168.0.4:10443 (This will open the default web browser and will show you the Mailscan Web-console login screen)
3. You can login with the user as"Admin" and the password set during installation.
Note:
1. If the Mailscan system has eScan installed you can try http://ip-address of the mailscan system:10444
2. If the Mailscan system has eScan for SBS installed, try https://ip-address of the mailscan system:10443, and choose Mailscan from the drop down menu.
